  1. MDFORMAT is the Musical Disk Formatter by Clark A. Hay is a simple utility 
  2. and 68000 assembly code tutorial.  It plays some music (the theme song 
  3. from the movie Midnight Express) while it formats your disk.  It was 
  4. written in 68000 assembly language using Assempro from Abacus Software.  
  5. While this may prove to be an amusing utility program, its main purpose is 
  6. tutorial - which is why the author has included the complete (heavily 
  7. commented) source code for it. Formatting uses 10 sectors per track, and 
  8. the user may select between drives A or B, single or double sided disk, 
  9. 80 or 82 tracks.  It does NOT produce a sector skewed track as with 
  10. "Twister.Prg", so don't expect any disk read/write speed ups.  Color
  11. only.  Docs included.
